Pitch Day was great. Me and Caleb were ready, it was nerve racking at first. Caleb was the most nervous. I knew that I wouldn't be very nervous because I was confident. When I first heard about pitch ady I was like we are going to the ace this. I know my post haven't been super long because I've been trying to get to a certain point, and today is all about confidence. Confidence is key.

As of right now in our blog we are preparing for pitch day. AS you all know in my last post it was about pitch day. I don't have much to say. Except for the fact that we have finished our video and sent our links to Mr. eckert so we are basically ready for pitch day.

We have decided to attempt to make a pi tablet. We know this will be difficult but, if we succeed the name pocket programming will really help people understand what this small computer is capable of so many things. As of right now we our printing the 4 parts to the needed case. We have printed 2/4 and as I was typing this we were uploading the fourth. The case parts have been smoothed out and sanded. We will be writing a grant for the needed parts and screen. The link to the site we are using is posted below, as well as my partner in this project's blog.
This week we were mostly preparing for Pitch Day. Pitch Day is presenting your idea for 20% time to the head administrators and board members. Pitch day is a key part to this year long project and will basically be the overview of your next 5 months working on this project. Me and my partner caleb our making video using animoto. It will be presented and shown to the administrators. We will hopefully have a 1-2 minute video then will be showing this blog for two minutes then the next two minutes will be questions. This may be a five minute video but it is the biggest part of the project.

The origin of our idea was when we decided to make a computer. We obviously were not willing to pay 500 dollars to buy parts, nor did we have that much money. So we had to find cheap alternative. We did some research and found a pocket computer called a raspberry pi. Oh yeah for 35 dollars, and this thing was perfect for programming and education. We were trying to make a game but we figured that the would take ten years to make a good game but this thing has so much potential and different designs that we decided to test it out. We will be attempting to make a pi tablet. Caleb Oliver will be helping me with this project. We each have our own pi and we will be experiment with Mr. Eckert pi that he has at school/
